Emergency responders revived a 76-year-old woman who went into cardiac arrest after a head-on collision between two cars Thursday in St. James, Suffolk police said.

Police said Friday it appears the woman may make a full recovery.

The woman's identity has not been released.

The other driver involved in the crash suffered no serious injuries, police said Friday.

The crash occurred on Moriches Road, south of Woodlawn Avenue, at about 6 p.m.

Police said that, as a result of the crash, the woman went into cardiac arrest - but was revived by emergency personnel. She was then taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center, police said.
