Woman, 84, killed crossing Sunrise Hwy.

An 84-year-old Lindenhurst woman was struck by a car and killed Wednesday night as she walked across Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst, Suffolk County police said.
Olga Stevens of 40th Street was struck by a car on Sunrise Highway near Straight Path at about 9 p.m. and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The 1998 Mercury that hit her was driven by a 34-year-old woman, police said. No one has been charged.
Police did not release any other details and said an investigation is continuing.
