A Selden woman was arrested Wednesday on charges of reckless endangerment hours after police said she used a vehicle to pin her sister against a garage during a dispute.

Marissa Kovalovsky, 19, of Parnet Court, Selden, was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, Suffolk County police said.

She is scheduled for arraignment Thursday in First District Court in Central Islip.

Police said officers had been searching for Kovalovsky since she used a vehicle to pin her 17-year-old sister against the garage at about 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Her sister, whose name was not released, was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment, police said.

It was not immediately clear what sparked the incident.
