Woman attacked on path in Kings Park
Police are searching for a rapist who attacked a woman Monday afternoon in Nissequogue River State Park in Kings Park.
State Park police said the rape happened at about 5:30 p.m. as the woman was walking on a bicycle path near Old Dock Road.
The victim, 20, told police the blond attacker was about 6 feet tall, with a thin but muscular build. She said he wore black gloves.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the attack to contact State Park police at 631-321-3700. All calls will remain confidential.
