Woman charged with robbing Medford bank twice

Allison Waluk, 29, a homeless woman, has been charged with two counts of robbery, Suffolk County Major Case Squad detectives said. On July 24 and Aug. 19, police allege Waluk entered the TD Bank at 1806 Rte. 112 in Medford and demanded money from a teller. Suffolk County police arrested a homeless woman on charges of robbing the same Medford bank twice this summer, major case squad detectives said Thursday.
Allison Waluk, 29, was arrested on Coventry Street in Central Islip at 5:11 p.m. and charged with two counts of robbery, police said.
She was held overnight at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Central Islip, they said.
On July 24 and again on Aug. 19, police allege Waluk entered the TD Bank at 1806 Route 112 in Medford and demanded money from a teller.
In each case, the woman escaped with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
