A woman was seriously injured when she lost control of her car, jumped a guardrail and crashed into the back of a 7-Eleven early Wednesday in Brentwood, police said.

The identity of the woman has not been released.

Suffolk County police said she was taken to Southside Hospital in Brentwood with serious injuries following the 12:24 a.m. crash near Exit 53 on the Long Island Expressway.

Police said the woman was driving a 2002 Lexus westbound on the LIE service road when she lost control, struck the guardrail, jumped over it — and struck the rear of the building. Police said they believe she was the only occupant.

No one in the 7-Eleven was injured, police said.
