Woman hurt in East Shoreham 3-car crash
A woman was seriously injured Sunday in a three-car crash that closed a portion of Route 25A in East Shoreham, Suffolk County police said.
The crash, which occurred on Route 25A at 11 a.m., involved three vehicles and seven people, police said.
The woman was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Police did not release the status of the six other people involved in the crash.
Route 25A remained closed between Huck Finn Lane and Blackfoot Trail hours later as police investigated.
