A Brentwood woman was critically injured when she lost control of her car, jumped a guardrail and crashed into a 7-Eleven early Wednesday in Brentwood, police said.
Police have identified the woman as Marilyn Chadee, 43.
Suffolk County police said she was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore in critical condition following the 12:24 a.m. crash near Exit 53 on the Long Island Expressway.
Police said Chadee was driving a 2002 Lexus RX300 west on the LIE service road when she lost control, struck the guardrail, jumped over it - and struck the rear of the building. Police said they believe she was the only person in the car.
No one in the 7-Eleven was injured, police said.
