Suffolk County police have released the name of a Yonkers woman killed in a two-car accident Monday in Medford, Sixth Squad detectives said Tuesday morning.

Anjum Zubair, 53, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Zubair was one of four passengers in a 2009 Toyota traveling north on Horseblock Road and attempting to turn left turn onto Expressway Drive North at about 4:48 p.m., police said.

The Toyota, driven by Fawad Ali, 28, of Mastic, hit a pickup truck that was being driven south on Horseblock by Stanley Vaughan, 53, of Port Jefferson Station.

Vaughan, his passenger, Ali and three others in the Toyota were taken to hospitals for treatment of what police said were minor injuries.

One of the passengers in the Toyota was pregnant, police said. There was no update on her condition.

Anyone with information on the accident is urged to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
