Police have identified a woman killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in East Shoreham as Deidre Bifulco, 38, of Ridge.

The crash left the driver, identified by Suffolk County police as Grace Quinones, 20, also of Ridge, hospitalized in critical condition.

Police said Quinones was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital with undisclosed injuries. The crash occurred on Randall Road, north of Whiskey Road, about 1:15 p.m.

Quinones was driving a Dodge Caravan north on Randall when she lost control of the minivan, leaving the road and hitting a tree. Bifulco was a passenger, police said.

The minivan was impounded for a safety check.

Police said the investigation is continuing and are asking anyone with information to call Seventh Squad detectives at 631-852-8752.

The crash briefly closed Randall Road in both directions between Cooper Street and the Leisure Glen gated community off Glen Drive, police said.
