Woman's body found in Mastic Beach home
Homicide detectives were investigating the death of a 26-year-old woman whose body was discovered Tuesday afternoon inside a Mastic Beach home, Suffolk police said.
No determination was immediately made as to whether her death was or was not criminal in nature, police said. The body was taken to the Suffolk County Medical Examiner's office as part of the homicide investigation, police said.
The woman, whose name was not released by police, was discovered at about 1:15 p.m. on Magnolia Drive, police said.
