Woman sought in Riverhead bank robbery, police say

A woman in sunglasses and a hooded sweatshirt robbed a bank Thursday morning in Riverhead, police said in asking for the public's help to catch her.
She had her hood up and also wore a black hat when she went into the Suffolk County National Bank on Second Street just after 10:30 a.m., Riverhead Town police said.
She handed the teller a note demanding money, then ran off with the cash, police said.
Police searched the area with a police dog and helicopter, police said.
The robber is about 5-foot-2 with a medium build, police said. She had on a gray hooded sweatshirt under a darker gray jacket, police said.
