10:30 update on Earl: (Very little) flooding and outages

As we wait for the 11 o'clock update from the National Hurricane Center of what probably be by now tropical storm Earl, the storm's impact on Long Island so far seems to be very mild.

LIPA is reporting 71 customers without power, mostly on the North Fork.

A couple of roads are reporting flooding, namely Dune Road in Southampton.
