Moore, 28, graduated from Princeton University in 2005 with bachelor’s in history, then worked for two years as a diversity work-life analyst at Morgan Stanley.

She returned school in 2007 to pursue a law degree at Fordham University in the Bronx. She graduated in 2010 and started in January in the investment management practice at Skadden, Arps in Manhattan. Part of her job is to help set up hedge funds.

“I’m really enjoying it,” she said. “It's great experience.”

Moore, who now lives in Manhattan, ran the 400-meter and 800-meter races in college track. She’s now getting back into running and hopes to run in a marathon for the first time next year.
