Commack
Foil, Senior

Had a 35-3 record and won the Suffolk individual championship. He also placed first in the Brentwood Holiday Tournament and has a C09 rating by the United States Fencing Association (fencers can be rated A, B, C or D, '09' is the year the rating was obtained). Murphy was named "Fencers Fencer,'' an award given by the Long Island fencing coaches.

Chris Sullivan
Ward Melville
Foil, Senior

Team captain was 24-2 this season, finishing second in the Suffolk championship. Placed first in the Huntington Invitational and has a B09 USFA rating.

Alexander Szilagyi
Cold Spring Harbor
Foil, Freshman

Finished the season 25-3, winning the Nassau individual championship for the second year in a row. Has a C10 USFA rating.

Matthew Joe
Manhasset
Sabre, Senior

Was undefeated in 25 matches, and capped his season with a Nassau championship. He was named the "Fencers Fencer'' and plans to continue fencing at Cornell next year.

Peter Freiss
Ward Melville
Sabre, Senior

Had a record of 24-2, including his second straight Suffolk individual title. Finished first in both the Brentwood and Huntington tournaments.

Chris Rivera
Centereach
Epee, Sophomore

After moving up from the junior varsity, Rivera finished 21-2, and won the Nassau individual championship.
