- Phillips of Ward Melville defeated No. 8 Benjamin Marino of Bay Shore, 6-3, in sudden victory to advance to the 103-pound quarterfinals. He will face top-seeded Marcarlo Mannello (Briarcliff/Byram Hills).
- At 157 pounds, No.12 Ryan Wood of Sayville won a 9-1 major decision over No. 5 William Ackley (Johnson City). Wood will face No. 4 Chris Nocca of Horace Greeley.
