49ers rally late, then beat Saints in overtime
49ers 27, Saints 24
With the game and perhaps the 49ers' season on the line, Colin Kaepernick threw a 51-yard pass to Michael Crabtree on fourth down to sustain a last-minute tying drive. After Ahmad Brooks sacked Drew Brees and recovered his fumble in overtime, Phil Dawson's 35-yard field goal won it.
The 49ers (5-4) ended a two-game slide. The Saints (4-5) had won 11 in a row at the Superdome and the past 20 there, including the playoffs, when coached by Sean Payton, who was suspended in 2012.
Cardinals 31, Rams 14
The team with the NFL's best record may be without its starting quarterback. Multiple reports said Carson Palmer suffered a torn left ACL, the same one he tore in 2006, in the fourth quarter.
"We don't know anything yet about Carson's injury or the length, whatever it is," coach Bruce Arians said. Palmer was to be evaluated after an MRI.
After Palmer hurt his knee, Arizona (8-1) rallied with three touchdowns, two on defense, in a span of 3:48.
Cowboys 31, Jaguars 17
Tony Romo returned after missing a game with a back injury and threw for three TDs as Dallas (7-3) overpowered Jacksonville (1-9) in London to snap a two-game losing streak. Dez Bryant had two TD receptions and 158 yards, all in the second quarter.
Broncos 41, Raiders 17
Peyton Manning threw five scoring passes as Denver (7-2) handed host Oakland (0-9) its 15th straight loss.
Chiefs 17, Bills 13
Two TDs by Kansas City (6-3) in the fourth quarter erased a 13-3 deficit. Host Buffalo is 5-4.
Ravens 21, Titans 7
Justin Forsett ran for two TDs for host Baltimore (6-4). Tennessee (2-7) has lost seven of eight.
Falcons 27, Bucs 17
Atlanta (3-6) ended a five-game skid as host Tampa Bay (1-8) lost its fifth in a row.
