5 hospitalized in crash near Middle Island gas station
Five people were hospitalized after a sedan and a pickup truck collided Sunday in Middle Island, Suffolk County police said.
Police said one of the vehicles was turning out of a gas station at Currans Road and Middle Country Road when the crash occurred.
Five people were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police did not immediately provide the specific time of the crash. The investigation is continuing.
