WHAT Shakespeare in the Park

THE DEAL The Public Theater has announced its summer Shakespeare in the Park season: The slapstick-style "The Comedy of Errors," which will star Tyler Ferguson and Hamish Linklater and be directed by Daniel Sullivan ("The Merchant of Venice"), followed by a new musical version of the rarely performed romance "Love's Labour's Lost" that will be helmed by the "Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson" duo of songwriter Michael Friedman and director-

playwright Alex Timbers. This marks the first new musical (as opposed to a revival like "Hair" or "Into the Woods") to be produced at Shakespeare in the Park in a long time.
