Take a look here at a photo essay by amateur photographer and traveler Carolyn Lau of Levittown about her recent day trip to the Longhouse Reserve in East Hampton.

She has posted lots of picturesque shots of the reserve, owned by textile designer and artist Jack Larson, that are worth taking a look at. She asks that you do not “borrow, take, steal, spit on, burn or use my photography without written permission.”

Lau notes that the volunteers who oversaw the entrance were "very friendly but unobtrusive."

"You are able to walk the grounds without distraction and being able to absorb the art and greenery at your own pace really lends itself to the Reserve's unique experience."
