A sunny but shivery Saturday
Sunshine is once again in the forecast for Long Island, but temperatures will struggle to hit 40 degrees, a trend that will continue over the next few days before an eventual warm-up next week.
Expect average highs to be about 38 to 42 across Long Island, with lows in the 20s for Saturday night.
Sunday is expected to feature much of the same, with a slight increase in temperatures and clouds rolling in.
Normal highs for this time of year are in the low 50s.
