Aaron Glenn has expressed nothing but confidence in himself, his staff and players in turning the Jets around after a dismal 3-14 first season as coach.

The clock is ticking.

Glenn, who could be on the hot seat this season, acknowledged there were some unexpected “blind spots” last year. He also believes there were things he did that “were really, really good.” Glenn said he’s much “more comfortable” now with what he wants to accomplish and how to get it done, and he understands he has to “pivot” sometimes.

“When you see things that you have to improve on, when you see tough decisions that you have to make, you got to pivot,” Glenn said. “I think the men that are not afraid to do that, in my opinion, are the ones that create success for themselves, because you don't really care about the outside noise, you don't really care what people say. The only thing you care about is how do you make the team better, how do you make the organization better? That's the one thing that I focus on.

“So when things are not to my liking, I'm going to pivot, and I'm going to make sure that I make the decisions that get this organization going in the right place.”
