MTA Police have reopened access to Penn Station after a disabled train caused delays on all trains into and out of Penn Station, leading to large crowds inside the station.

According to LIRR station announcements, there are currently 10-15 minute delays into and out of Penn Station, and up to 30 minute residual delays for trains east of Jamaica.

The disabled train has been removed, says the MTA website.

Customers had earlier been asked to "delay their departure" from New York City.
