Families interested in learning about foster care and adoption are invited to a free public program today at the Long Island Children’s Museum.

The museum, at 11 Davis Ave., will host the bi-county Nassau Suffolk Adoption Exchange from 6 to 9 p.m.

Representatives from the Department of Social Services in Nassau and Suffolk counties will be joined by representatives from the state Office of Children and Family Services, as well as adoption agencies and adoption support groups.

The adults-only program will offer answers to questions on the adoption process and put families in touch with local and state resources, organizers said.

For more information and to RSVP, contact Denise Alba at 631-972-7038 or call 845-708-2493.
