Adventureland in Farmingdale will debut its "Nightmare on the Midway" Halloween attractions this weekend, with some of the proceeds benefiting its Helping Hands Foundation and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

"Nightmare on the Midway" opens Saturday and will be open from 7 to 11 p.m. Fridays through Sundays until Nov. 2. The haunted attractions, which will feature 50 live actors, are in addition to the amusement park's regular rides that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
