AG's office notified
The news release said the New York State Attorney General’s Office was notified about the shooting, as required by law.
"At this time, our primary focus is assisting the Attorney General’s Office and Suffolk County Investigators in conducting a complete and transparent investigation," the release said,
It added: "Our thoughts remain with the victim and all those affected by this traumatic incident."
