Agriculture futures trade higher on the CBOT
(AP) — Agriculture futures advanced Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery rose 2 cents to $4.995 a bushel, while March corn edged up 4 cents to $3.72 a bushel and oats for March delivery added 3 cents to $2.23 a bushel. March soybeans gained 4 cents to $9.54 a bushel.
Meanwhile, beef futures traded lower and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
February live cattle lost 0.6 cent to 86.85 cents a pound; March feeder cattle shed 0.5 cent to 99.37 cents a pound; February lean hogs rose 0.35 cent to 70.8 cents a pound; and February pork bellies slipped 0.05 cent to 89 cents a pound.
