Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT
(AP) — Agriculture futures were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery lost 4.75 cents to $5.53 a bushel, while March corn inched up 0.25 cent to $4.1875 a bushel and oats for March delivery fell 5 cents to $2.74 a bushel. March soybeans rose 3 cents to $10.61 a bushel.
Meanwhile, beef and pork futures advanced on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
February live cattle edged up 0.95 cent to 86.32 cents a pound; March feeder cattle added 0.6 cent to 96.92 cents a pound; February lean hogs gained 1.75 cents to 67.6 cents a pound; and February pork bellies rose 0.2 cent to 87.7 cents a pound.
