Forty-four school districts in Nassau and Suffolk counties are receiving grants to help with educational costs of students displaced by hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria and by the 2017 California wildfires and enrolled in New York schools during the 2017-18 school year.

This chart shows, by district, the number of eligible displaced students and the amount awarded by the state Education Department. The grants are authorized under the Federal Temporary Emergency Impact for Displaced Student program.
