Some Democratic candidates for local office in the Hamptons are adding star power to help fill their campaign coffers.

According to his publicist, Alec Baldwin is scheduled to stop by the Electing Great Women fundraiser in Sag Harbor on Friday night, hosted by former East Hampton Town Supervisor Judith Hope and Gail Furman, a board member of Eleanor’s Legacy, an organization named for Eleanor Roosevelt that aims to increase women’s participation in New York Democratic politics.

The event is being held to benefit three candidates for town board seats: incumbent Southampton Supervisor Anna Throne-Holst, a registered Independent supported by the town Democratic Party; incumbent Southampton Councilwoman Bridget Fleming, a Democrat; and Sylvia Overby, a Democrat running for East Hampton Town Board.

Tickets are $150. For more information, email judithhope@mac.com.
