The four-time All-Long Island selection carried the Dalers to new heights, bringing the program its first county title and Long Island championship, in which she tossed a three-hit shutout against unbeaten Bay Shore. The Virginia Tech-bound senior went 15-7 with a 1.82 ERA and 292 strikeouts, including a career-high 20 against Island Trees in April. Also a feared hitter, Corrao walked 32 times and finished with a .388 average and .639 on-base percentage.
