Lynn Bynes, the mother of troubled former child actress Amanda Bynes, has been granted a conservatorship over her daughter, E! News reported Wednesday, citing court documents it obtained. Bynes, 28, who has been under involuntary psychiatric hold in California since Oct. 10, was under her mother's conservatorship last year after having been placed in similar involuntary hospitalization. The former star of Nickelodeon's "All That" and "The Amanda Show" has exhibited odd behavior in recent years, including setting a small fire in a stranger's driveway the summer of 2013 and earlier this month accusing her father of having a microchip implanted in her brain.
