Amy Fisher will be baring it all for education this weekend.
Fisher, now on a nationwide exotic dance tour, will be the featured dancer this weekend at Illusions Gentlemen's Club in Deer Park, where 30 dancers say they will begin donating some of their own tips to help education funding on Long Island.
Fisher will be at the club Saturday and Sunday for two shows each night. The club hopes to raise $10,000.
“As a mom, she’s supportive of raising money for local schools that are getting their funding cut,” a club spokesman said.
In fact, the vast majority of dancers participating in the “pole tax” are moms, the spokesman said.
The money raised will be delivered to the state Department of Taxation. If it’s not accepted there, the club will seek to donate the money to local school districts in an effort to save programs like arts and music.
