Andrea Marino, a senior at <a href="/topics/West_Islip%2C_NY">West Islip</a> High School, has been dancing since she was two years old.&nbsp; Involved in the School’s Dance troupe, Gold Company, since her Freshman year, Andie has dancedat such venues as the 92nd St. Y and the <a href="/topics/Tilles_Center%2C_NY">Tilles Center</a>. She has also been featured at David Sander’s Dance Dynamics and at the Posey School of Dance.

 Andie is a member of the&nbsp;Yearbook Club, the National Honor Society and the National Honor Society for Dance Arts.&nbsp; She was nominated as a representative of&nbsp; the <a href="/topics/New_York_%28state%29">New York</a> State Dance Education Association for her Artistic Merit, Leadership, and Academic Achievement.

 Andie has created dynamic and beautiful solo choreographic work and co-created duets, small group, and large group pieces. She is currently co-choreographing a piece for West Islip’s Winter concert. She plans to major in nursing in college next fall.
