Animal shelter taking pets to the movies
The Town of Hempstead is taking dogs and cats from its animal shelter to the Seaford Cinema this weekend to help promote the film, “Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore," and to woo families to adopt pets.
The pets will be at the theater between Friday, July 30, and Sunday, Aug. 1. Adoption fees will be dropped for anyone who adopts a pet at the event.
