Friends of the Orange County Arboretum will offer a variety of classes for both children and adults during the month of April.

From 10 a.m. to noon April 5 and April 19, a two-part landscape design class will be offered. The course costs $30 per person, with reservations required.

From 10 a.m. to noon April 14, a class will be offered on the basics of planting and caring for perennials. The class costs $20 per person.

From 10 a.m. to noon April 21, a class on discovering pond life will be offered for children ages 7 to 10. The class costs $7 per child.

From 11 a.m. to noon April 27, a free event for Arbor Day will take place.

From 10 a.m. to noon April 28, a class on planting a fairy garden will be offered for children ages 6 to 10. The class costs $7 per child.

The arboretum is located at the Grove Street entrance to Thomas Bull Memorial Park on Route 416 in Montgomery.
