As opener nears, Nabers is feeling 'real good'
Malik Nabers remained noncommittal to playing by Week 1. But the Giants receiver said Monday he’s feeling “real good” 13 days away from facing the Cowboys.
There’s still checkpoints to reach in his recovery from ACL and meniscus surgery. Nabers declined to say what they were but reiterated that he’s confident he’ll be a better receiver than in his rookie season.
Nabers also shared more thoughts from the low points of his rehab that added to his belief he’ll be a better receiver than in 2024.
“I’ve went through everything that I could just to get to this moment,” Nabers said. “I thought I would probably never run a route again, just how the stuff was going. But I made it here. I’ve been through the hard stuff so I feel like there’s nothing in my life that I can’t overcome.”
