So much of Ashanti's upcoming "Braveheart" album focuses on sounding timeless. Her new single, "I Got It" (Written Entertainment), though, is all about right now. With Rick Ross adding some timely verses, Ashanti's sweet voice floats over some hard-hitting beats, through producer L.T. Hutton, that would work on Hot 97 right now. When Ross declares, "Let's start getting this money, baby," he's not kidding.
