Assistance available for Sandy victims

Help for homeowners and business owners applying for superstorm Sandy recovery aid will be available at locations across Long Island over the next week.
Representatives from New York State’s Department of Financial Services will visit these locations:
On Saturday, May 11, 116 Merritts Rd., Farmingdale, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Monday, May 13, Babylon Town Hall, 200 East Sunrise Hwy., Lindenhurst, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On Tuesday, May 14, 2600 Newbridge Rd., Bellmore, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On Wednesday, May 15, 2550 Clubhouse Rd., Merrick, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Department representatives also will help with insurance-related issues stemming from damage caused by Sandy.
