Auditions to begin for LIU Post Chamber Music Festival
Auditions for the 31st Summer Season of the LIU Post Chamber Music Festival will begin on April 22 and continue with audition dates on May 6, 7, 20 and 21 and June 3, 4 and 11, or by special appointment.
The LIU Post Chamber Music Festival offers gifted music students (ages 10 to 18), college/conservatory students and young professionals the opportunity to study and perform in a rich musical environment.
Festival faculty includes The Pierrot Consort, the faculty ensemble-in-residence at LIU Post, with additional faculty and special guest artists including well-known guest artist Larry Dutton, violist with the Emerson String Quartet.

The LIU Post Chamber Music Festival is available on a non-credit basis or participants may elect to earn undergraduate or graduate credits for participation. High school students may earn college credit through the High School Enrichment Program.
The festival, one of the region’s premier musical events, will be held July 9 to 27 at the LIU Post in Brookville.
