Austin Fowler, March Scholar Artist for Nassau County

Austin Fowler, a senior at Oceanside High School, thrives under pressure. As the Stage Manager of over fourteen shows and the Vice President of the Thespian Troupe, he is no stranger to deadlines, paperwork, and organization.

Austin is adept in all areas of technical theatre including Stage Management, Set Design, Lighting and Sound Design.  Austin is a member of the National Honor Society, a recipient of  the “Most Outstanding Set Construction Award”, a  Thespian Honor Bar Award Recipient, President of Set Construction, Vice-President of Thespian Troupe #132 and  President of Peer Mediation. While working towards all of these accolades Austin continues to thrive in all of his classes.

The Fall will see Austin attend college with a major in Technical Theatre leading to a career in Stage Management.
