Producer Jon Landau will be at Nassau Community College on Monday to discuss the making of the movie “Avatar” and what’s next in filmmaking.

Landau produced “Avatar” and the Academy Award-winning “Titanic” with James Cameron. In the 1990s, as executive vice president at Twentieth Century Fox, he supervised production on films including “Die Hard 2,” “Mrs. Doubtfire” and “True Lies.”
