The Babylon High School Leo Club, part of the Lions Club International, will host its annual dinner and theater for senior citizens on April 11 at the school.

The event will showcase a production of “I Never Saw Another Butterfly,” by the Babylon Drama Club. Last year’s event attracted more than 100 attendees.

The Leo Club’s new advisers, Jenna Cucci and Lisa Brush, said last year’s response was “overwhelming,” so they encouraged the students to organize the event again.

"I encourage our members to give back to the community," said Brush. "Making a difference in peoples lives is what the Leo Club strives to do."

Dinner will begin at 3:45 p.m. and the show will follow.

The Leo Club consists of students in grades 7-12. The students help serve the seniors their meal and then escort them to the high school auditorium, where the show takes place.

"Watching our students grow and gain this experience was priceless... we look forward to seeing this from our students again," said Brush.

RSVPs are necessary for all guests. Please call Karin Colletti at 631-893-7920 if you are interested in attending.
