Babylon hosts teen theater awards
The Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts and the Town of Babylon are hosting a teen theater awards ceremony Tuesday night.
The ninth annual awards will be held at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Lindenhurst Senior High School at 300 Charles St.
The awards, which are given in 22 categories, recognize the best performances in nine of the town’s high schools for the 2010-11 season.
The theater performances involve the participation of hundreds of students.
The free event will also feature performances of highlights from the theater season.
