Babylon path named to honor councilwoman

The Town of Babylon has approved the renaming of a pathway after longtime Councilwoman Ellen McVeety.

The pathway, currently called Memorial Way , is located between Cedar and Overlook beaches and leads up to the town’s 9/11 memorial. It will now be called Ellen T. McVeety Way.
