Babylon to give out free senior IDs on Wednesday

The Town of Babylon is holding a free senior identification card program on Wednesday.
The program, sponsored by the town and state Sen. Charles J. Fuschillo Jr. (R-Merrick), will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Tanner Park Senior Center in Copiague.
The program allows all seniors ages 60 and older who are Town of Babylon residents to obtain a free wallet-sized senior ID card. The card includes a photo and the senior’s personal data, physician’s contact information and emergency contact phone numbers.
Other information, such as the senior’s allergies, medications and blood type, also can be printed on the cards.
