Babylon Town will host its increasingly popular fourth annual Long Island Run for the Warriors on Sunday morning. The run through the town’s streets, which drew 2,000 participants last year, raises money for Hope for the Warriors — an organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for servicemen who have been wounded or killed in the line of duty, and their families.

The run begins at Town Hall, 200 E. Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst, and traverses local roadways at distances of 10k, 5k and 1 mile. A pre-race ceremony honoring veterans will be held at 9 a.m. The run kicks off at 9:30 a.m.
