Another season, another league title for Bay Shore.

The Marauders took home their 21st straight League II girls championship Saturday at Suffolk CC-Brentwood, defeating Northport, 174-123, in a battle between two of Suffolk's top teams.

Senior Jessica Gelibert set a meet record in the 300, winning in 41.60 seconds. She also won the 55 hurdles in 8.72 seconds and led off the Marauders' winning 4 x 200 team. Bay Shore also broke the meet record in the 4 x 400 as the team of Cesia Andrade, Cynthia Del Core, Jacqueline Anderson, and Danielle Rowe won in 4:13.28.

Bay Shore had at least one athlete score in each of the meet's 15 events.

"Our goal is to try to have someone place in every race," Marauders coach Steve Borbet said. "Our overall depth is one of our strengths."

Connetquot finished third with 64 points, followed by Smithtown East (40).
