LARGE SCHOOLSBay Shore has the depth to have a special season with sprinter Essence Rogers, jumper Kelsey Palomino, Danielle Rowe (600), distance specialist Lindsay Arcuri and racewalker Jennifer Halloran. Northport has a fabulous distance crew with Brigid Brennan, but will also compete with Sara Ronde (long jump, 300), Elyssa Slawinski (shot) and hurdler Olga Janiak. Longwood boasts sprinter Olivia Hallstein, Imani White (shot) and Audrey Miller (600). Hurdler Samantha Eng and middle distance runner Laurie Semetsis lead Sachem East.

Watch out for Commack with Sarah Bell (hurdles, sprints). Lindenhurst has an excellent sprint group with Alyssa Barthelmes, Ashley Gregg, Amber McCabe and Brittany Vinceguerra. Distance runners Kate Anselmini and Caroline O'Hea, Jeana Esernio (1,000) and racewalker Nicolette Pirraglia lead Ward Melville. Samantha Swift (hurdles), Stephanie Richer (sprints), Leira Wood (1,500), and Kayla Cataldo (600) return for Sachem North, and distance runners Ali Foote and Julie Laudenschlager are back at West Islip.

SMALL SCHOOLSShoreham-Wading River is loaded with Mackenzie Pendergast (hurdles), Audrey Kelly (distance), Rose Andrews (distance), Laura Lee (600), sprinter/long jumper Shannon McDonnell and Shannon Gallagher (shot). Kings Park has a talented duo in Tara Greco (long jump) and Kayla Koelbel (triple jump). All-purpose distance runner Janie Turek is back for Mt. Sinai. Eastport-South Manor is led by Briana Hayes (1,000) and distance runners Nicole Schafer and Rachel Vanlandingham. Miller Place is led by distance twins Tiana and Talia Guevara.

Half Hollow Hills West has Carly Rosen (hurdles), Erin Grosskurth (3,000) and sprinter Kerri Graber to keep it in contention. Hauppauge should be a factor with Bryanna Mustapich (hurdles), Krystina Choinski (1,000) and racewalker Donna Macaluso. Harborfields' distance duo of Kelsey Margey and Michelle Gaye, along with Kim Miranda (shot) could take it a long way. Bayport-Blue Point has an impressive sprint team with Brenna Darby, Cassie Dooley, Katie Saroka and Aubrie Van Welle, while Sarah Schoepflin (high jump) and Katharina Ross (long jump) lead Port Jefferson.
