Beatstock concert set for Farmingville

Brookhaven Amphitheater will be the venue for Party FM Beatstock 2011, an eight-hour outdoor concert, on Aug. 20, town officials and the events’ promoters have announced.

The concert is scheduled to begin at noon at the Farmingville venue and will include performers including Kat Deluna, Shaggy, Chris Willis, Wynter Gorden, Mia Martina, Kim Sozzi, Lucas Prata, and Crystal Waters.

JVC Broadcasting of Ronkonkoma is producing the event.

The event is the return of  “quality, affordable family entertainment,” said John Caracciolo, president of JVC Broadcasting.

The amphitheater, owned by Brookhaven Town, is located on South Bicycle Path.

Tickets are available at ticketmaster.com. Prices range from $30 for lawn seating to $395 for backstage passes.
